We bought a house that came with a refrigerator that has this filter in it. I ordered a new filter because the flow of ice water was very slow, and the ice maker didn’t seem to know what it’s job was. It arrived in just a couple of days. and I unwrapped it, popped it in, ran water through it as per the directions, and presto, the flow of water tripled, and the ice maker figured out how to make ice!
